Account Deletion Policy – SpeakPro

SpeakPro respects your privacy and gives you full control over your account and personal data. This policy explains how users can request account deletion and what happens after deletion.

1. Right to Delete Your Account
You have the right to permanently delete your SpeakPro account at any time. Once deleted, your account and associated personal data will no longer be accessible

2. How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: In-App Account Deletion
You can delete your account directly from the SpeakPro mobile app:

  1. Open the SpeakPro App

  2. Go to Profile / Settings

  3. Select Account Settings

  4. Tap Delete Account

  5. Confirm your request

Your deletion request will be processed immediately or within the timeline mentioned below.
 
Option 2: Request via Email
If you are unable to access the app, you may request account deletion by email.

Subject: Account Deletion Request
Please include:

  • Registered email address or phone number

  • SpeakPro username (if applicable)

Our support team will verify your request and proceed with deletion.

3. What Data Is Deleted
Once your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Personal profile information (name, email, phone number)

  • Role-play and practice session data

  • English learning analytics and reports

  • Call history and conversation metadata

  • Preferences, streaks, and progress records

  • Payment identifiers (except where legally required)

4. Data Retention After Deletion

  • Most personal data is deleted immediately or within 30 days

  • Certain data may be retained only if required by law, such as:

    • Payment or transaction records (for tax/compliance)

    • Fraud prevention or legal obligations

Retained data is securely stored and not used for any other purpose.

5. Subscription & Payments

  • Deleting your account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions

  • Please cancel subscriptions via:

    • Google Play Store or Apple App Store

  • No refunds are issued for unused subscription periods unless required by law

6. Irreversibility of Deletion
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Once deleted:

  • Your data cannot be recovered

  • Your learning history and analytics are permanently lost

  • You must create a new account to use SpeakPro again

7. Children’s Accounts
SpeakPro does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age required by local laws. If such an account is identified, it will be deleted immediately upon request or discovery.

8. Security & Confirmation
For security reasons:

  • We may verify your identity before processing deletion

  • You may receive a confirmation email once deletion is completed

9. Changes to This Policy
SpeakPro may update this Account Deletion Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the app or on our official website.
